Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- A Master of Science (MSc) degree at a nationally recognized/certified university in a related subject (such as Computer Sciences) and 5 years post-related experience;
- A recognized formal project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, PMP or Agile PM. The lack of formal qualifications can be compensated by the demonstration of relevant expertise and experience;
- Experience of project management within complex IT environments.
- Knowledge of NATO procurement and acquisition procedures;
- Proficiency with enterprise project management tools such as Microsoft Project/Service Now;
- Knowledge of NATO C2 Systems, especially TOPFAS.
- Taking full responsibility for the definition, execution and satisfactory completion of projects, including preparation and submission of a Project Proposal, supporting in the release of Contractual Package, contributing to Source Selection process according to the defined procurement strategy (as Project Evaluation Chairperson for complex procurement) , and monitoring, managing, and controlling the project through to completion including transition into the operations;
- Providing effective leadership to the project team, and taking appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances;
- Identifying, evaluating, and recommending option for project implementation as required by NATO and Agency processes.
