Introduction:
With a focus on advancing cutting-edge technology and delivering solutions to global challenges, one of our clients is currently seeking a C/C++ Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing and developing advanced radar systems and optical sensor technology for high-tech applications.

Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• A degree in (technical) informatics, computer science, or a related technical field;
• Extensive experience with C and C++ programming languages in a real-time environment;
• Strong understanding of real-time software development, radar systems, and complex algorithm design;
• A creative, open-minded, and flexible collaborator with excellent communication skills;
• Proficiency in English.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with other languages such as Java;
• Proficiency in Dutch.

Duties/role:

• Contributing to the development of modular radar software, including system control, radar signal organization, and digital information flow processing;
• Designing and implementing software solutions for detecting, classifying, and tracking objects like drones and aircraft;
• Working in multidisciplinary Agile teams alongside system engineers, functional designers, and real-time software specialists;
• Maintaining and evolving the modular software architecture to ensure robustness and scalability;
• Utilizing modern development tools to streamline the Agile process and ensure a seamless software integration.
