For the 2024-2025 academic year, the Lycée Français Guy de Maupassant is looking to hire an English language and literature teacher for middle school who is interested in working in a dynamic and innovative school.
The Lycée Français Guy de Maupassant is a K12 international French accredited private school committed to offer a balance between academic excellence and personal development. Our mission is to create a generation of responsible, passionate, creative and empathetic citizens who are aware of the social issues surrounding them and fully capable of facing tomorrow’s world.
About us: The Lycée Français Guy de Maupassant has opened its doors in the new neighbourhood of Almaz in 2018 and is known for its state-of-the art campus offering facilities to the best international standards in a green environment. With an initial capacity of 2000 students, the school has grown fast as a result of parents’ satisfaction and has opened a brand new extension in September 2022, doubling its capacity. At the Lycée Français Guy de Maupassant, teachers enjoy working together to create a stimulating environment for children through engaging activities.

As an English and literature teacher, you will have to:
- Support student’s learning by preparing engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the French curriculum in terms of milestones students need to reach at every age group. Those milestones are similar to those of a UK/American curriculum.
- Develop positive relationships with all members of the school community
- Support student’s personal development and fulfilment
- Create a positive learning environment in your classroom
- Build positive relationships with families
We are looking for a teacher who has:
- A real passion for teaching,
- Strong writing and speaking skills in English,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities,
- Ability to collaborate and exchange on curriculum and teaching practices,
- Openness to new educational approaches,
- Adaptable and flexible,
- Strong sense of responsibility and care for students,
