As part of our expansion, we are establishing a cutting-edge operation center in Malaysia to manage large-scale postprocessing of drone EL data. To support this mission, we are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our infrastructure.
Position Overview:
As the IT Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the operation center’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and data storage systems. You will ensure that the infrastructure operates efficiently, securely, and reliably to support multiple postprocessing teams working on drone EL data. This role requires expertise in Windows-based systems, IT troubleshooting, and infrastructure management.

To support this mission, we are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our infrastructure.
Position Overview:
As the IT Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the operation center’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and data storage systems. You will ensure that the infrastructure operates efficiently, securely, and reliably to support multiple postprocessing teams working on drone EL data. This role requires expertise in Windows-based systems, IT troubleshooting, and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server and Workstation Management:
- Configure, maintain, and monitor Windows-based servers and workstations to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in a secure manner.
- Data Storage and Backup:
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of data storage solutions to ensure efficient and secure data handling.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery systems to safeguard critical data.
- Monitor storage utilization and plan for future scalability.
- IT Infrastructure Maintenance:
- Ensure the continuous availability of IT systems, including networking, power, and server infrastructure.
- Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and patch management for all systems.
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect the operation center from potential threats.
- Operational Support:
- Collaborate with the postprocessing teams to ensure IT systems meet their operational needs.
- Provide technical support and training to team members as required.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and best practices.
- Planning and Optimization:
- Evaluate and recommend IT infrastructure improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Plan and implement new IT solutions to support the operation center's growth and evolving requirements.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing Windows-based servers and workstations in a professional environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and data storage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with backup and recovery systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with supporting multi-user environments is a plus.
