SMC Industries (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is a company that supply, manufactures, assembly machines and machine elements for various industries. It manufactures pneumatic equipment and machine elements that play an essential role in the automation of various industries.
SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER
Responsibilities:

Sourcing Suppliers: Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, and reliability.
Negotiating Contracts: Negotiate terms of agreements, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
Order Management: Place orders for goods and services, ensuring timely delivery.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to avoid shortages. Ensure production kits are complete and up-to-date.
Logistics/Warehousing: Responsible for warehousing, logistics for import and export, systems integration, and the distribution of goods and services.
Planning: Align production schedules with demand forecasts and supply availability.
Collaboration: Work with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure BOM accuracy.
Supplier Quality Control: Ensure products from suppliers meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
Sustainability: Implement sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impact from suppliers.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in purchasing, manufacturing, or supply chain management, if with min 2 years’ experience is more advantage.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English.
Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
