Responsibilities:

• Building furniture based on the specifications and designs provided by the company.
• Designing commercial furniture based on the specifications provided by the company.
• Drafting technical drawings based on conceptual designs.
• Creating 2D & 3D furniture models using Inventor & Auto CAD based on conceptual designs.
• Drafting a bill of material.
• Conducting safety tests on products to ensure products conform to market safety standards.
• Leading a team to build the furniture.
• Other ad-hoc tasks related to the construction, designing, and production of the furniture.

Requirements:

• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in industrial design or furniture design.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in wood working and/or in the furniture manufacturing industry.
• Competent with technical drawings, woodworking, and furniture design and construction.
• Must be able to fluently speak Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Preferably is able to speak English.
• A passionate, detailed-orientated individual who is driven with good communication and interpersonal skills.
