Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pilates Studio Manager to lead our team and ensure the
seamless daily operation of our Pilates Studio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wellness and
fitness, an excellent communicator, a skilled problem solver, and could manage schedules and a
commitment to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both clients and staff. As the Studio
Manager, you will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, managing a team of Pilates instructors,
and optimizing the studio’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Pilates instructors, receptionists and cleaning staff,
ensuring clear communication, accountability, and high standards of service.
Coordinate and manage schedules for Pilates instructors (full time instructors and freelancers),
receptionists, and cleaning staff, ensuring proper coverage for all shifts and classes.
Managing substitute instructors when needed.
Oversee the training of new staff members, ensuring they are familiar with studio policies,
procedures, and customer service expectations.
Provide ongoing support and training for all team members, including Pilates instructors,
receptionists, and cleaning staff, to ensure continued professional development and high-quality
performance.
Organize and facilitate team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
opportunities.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team, fostering a
culture of continuous improvement and motivation.
Ensure that reception staff is fully trained to handle client inquiries, bookings, and retail sales, as
well as manage the studio’s point-of-sale system efficiently.
Maintain effective communication with all team members including freelancers’ instructors,
ensuring they are well-informed about studio updates, policies, and any changes to schedules or
procedures.
Monitor and manage cleaning staff to ensure the studio is consistently clean, hygienic, and
organized, particularly in high-traffic areas such as restrooms and changing rooms.
Ensure that class equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each class, adhering to strict
hygiene standards. Monitor the cleaning process to ensure it is done promptly and effectively to
maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety for clients.
2. Client Engagement and Customer Service:
Create a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment that encourages client loyalty and
promotes a positive Pilates experience.
Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly, aiming for complete client
satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring that clients are informed of class
schedules, special promotions, and any other studio updates.
Implement strategies to engage and retain clients, including personalized service and creating a
strong sense of community within the studio.
3. Operational Duties:
Oversee and optimize studio operations, ensuring smooth daily functions, including managing
class schedules, staff shifts, and client flow.
Monitor and maintain Pilates studio equipment and ensure the studio is clean, organized, and
well-maintained at all times.
Oversee inventory management for studio supplies, including equipment, cleaning products, and
retail items.
4. Instruction (Preferred):
Conduct Pilates classes as needed, particularly in cases of instructor absences or high demand.
5. Administrative and Financial Tasks:
Handle financial aspects of the studio including processing payments, invoicing clients, and
ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
Administer scheduling and booking systems, monitor attendance, and make adjustments to
maximize class attendance and studio utilization.
Prepare and maintain reports for studio performance, including financial, attendance, and client
feedback.
6. Marketing and Business Development:
Work closely with the team to create compelling promotional photos and videos designed to
attract new clients and engage existing ones. These assets will be shared across social media
platforms to enhance the studio’s visibility, strengthen its brand presence, and drive business
growth.
Assist in organizing studio events, workshops, or collaborations to increase brand visibility and
client engagement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or operational role, preferably
within the fitness, wellness, or health club industry. Pilates studio experience is a plus.
Certifications:
o Certification as a Pilates instructor from reputable organizations such as Balanced Body,
STOTT, BASI, or a similar recognized certification (highly recommended but not
mandatory).
o Any relevant management, fitness, or wellness certifications are a plus.
Language: Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Experience with studio management software and scheduling tools is highly
advantageous.
Personality Traits: Friendly, approachable, detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused. Strong
leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team to achieve collective goals.
Additional Considerations:
Work Schedule: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as
needed to accommodate the studio’s class schedule and operational needs.
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: KD300.000 - KD850.000 per month
