The National Security Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Supply Technician in support of Storage Area Operations for the Ammunition Supply Activity Program in Kuwait. The Supply Technician I reports directly to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Project Manager. Serve as the Supply Supervisor, responsible for all Government Furnished Materials (GFM) utilized by ASP/TSA – Kuwait program, to include assisting in the local purchases of materials as required. Assist in the management of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Theater Provided Equipment (TPE) on the contract, thru the utilization of Asset Smart and Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A). Performs a variety of Supply function duties to include: Property accountability, property inventory, parts and materiel ordering. Prepare, manage, and issue hand receipts and sub-hand receipts as required. Assist in the conduct of scheduled internal periodic and 10% inventories. Perform a myriad of GCSS-A Maintenance related functions including scheduling services, dispatching, managing ASL, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and four (4) or more years in supply operations, with a minimum of two (2) years Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A) experience in supply procurement.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current operators’ license for warehouse forklifts, materials handling equipment (MHE).
• Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English Language.
• Must be able to pass a background National Agency Check prior to employment.
• Active DOD Secret security clearance or the able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Experience resolving complex issues utilizing external resources and escalating internally when appropriate.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Kuwait Driver’s license and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Preferred qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Asset Smart
• Expert knowledge of Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Kuwaiti Immigration Requirements for obtaining a Kuwaiti work visa include but are not limited to obtaining and providing an authenticated police background check verifying NO prior criminal history. At this time Kuwait is not approving residency visa’s for those 60 years of age and older.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $42,250.00 - $76,375.00
