Cost Control Engineer

We're seeking a talented and motivated Cost Control Engineer to join our project team located Ahmadi. In this role, you will be responsible is supporting the project costs to ensure they remain within the approved budget.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in cost control or related role.
Knowledge in cost control software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Excel, SAP).
Must have valid transferrable residency in Kuwait.

Responsibilities

Maintain and oversee the project cost control system for tracking expenses and accurate reporting.
Monitor and analyze costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Assist in cost forecasting, including future expenditure estimates and budget revisions.
Identify cost variances and work with project teams to develop corrective actions.
Support the development of project budgets with detailed cost estimates and contingency plans.
Prepare periodic reports, such as cost-to-complete estimates, earned value analysis, and financial forecasts.
Track and manage changes to project scope, including evaluating cost impacts and budget updates.
Collaborate with project manager and teams to ensure alignment on cost control measures.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage cost-related issues and ensure compliance.
