Building Maintenance Manager

. Leads a team of technicians performing all types of civil and maintenance work on all the company owned or leased premises.
- Receives work orders by email or phone
- Checks work order
- Check and assign job as per specialty and availability of the technicians
- Assigns work orders by priority of job urgency
- Lead a team of technicians, checking quality of outcome
- Manage time of department staff
- Trains staffs on newly purchased tools & equipment's
- Processes performance appraisal reviews for department staffs, counseling then on what they had missed to do, not done properly, for staffs to know how to do better
- Handles the recruitment process when needing additional or replacement staff
- Rewards and disciplines staffs on actions done
- Visits technicians on site to check work in process
- Assess work outcome, once completed, before handing it over to requester
- Assigns technicians to visit all premises to check if anything, not reported, needed to be fixed or done
- Activates routine maintenance on some of the technical staff, by having them check and fix on a need to be basis
- Performs any duty assigned by the line
- Processes any cross training as mandated by the line
- Alternates for colleagues when requested by the management
- Comply with Health, Safety and Environment regulations and working practices of KDD and the State of Kuwait when carrying out duties.
Required Professional Skills:

Work Experience: At least 10 years in a technical multi-function duty and at least 5 years leading a team of technicians is required - Good level in English & Arabic Language are required
- Computer Literacy: MS Office, Oracle & all related software programs
Required Qualification:
-
Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or general engineering Diploma.
