Quality Assurance Specialist Intern

We’re looking for focused ambitious individuals to participate in our 8-12-month Quality Assurance Internship within our Research & Development Hub in Galway, Ireland. SOTI is looking for passionate innovative undergraduates or recent graduates who are currently studying a computer science or related technical field (within academia or home-based study) to take part in our dynamic internship program.
We’re looking for a highly skilled QA responsible for integrating complex projects, and testing plans, within the Agile (Scrum) framework, to help validate and verify the quality of world-class EMM solutions. This position offers numerous growth opportunities and the potential to have a long-lasting career with SOTI.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and document application test scenarios and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all SOTI's product offerings.
- Create implement and maintain test coverage for SOTI's Web and Mobile applications
- Work collaboratively in an agile team with other QA Analysts, Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers and Scrum Masters
- Participate in the testing execution for each sprint (Agile) or testing phase
- Analyze and document bugs and customer issues
- Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios, and test cases and track and report on testing activities
- Conduct exploratory testing on SOTI's application during development
- Offer creative and innovative solutions to complex testing issues
- Follow the overall QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines
- Work in a collaborative, quality-focused role in agile development teams to shape SOTI's product offerings
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong analytical skills which reflect in finding good scenarios.
- Strong in API testing using any tool.
- Strong hold on C#, OOPS Concepts.
- Hands-on with BDD framework and test script creation.
- Good with BDD, Spec-flow & Tools (Cucumber etc.)
- Strong in Web technologies, Mobility [Android, IOS & Windows]
- Knowledge of Database testing is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodology, with the ability to create excellent test cases
- Familiarity with Microsoft Test manager, team foundation server, Test like and visual studio, Jira.
- Good debugging skills.
- Have sound knowledge of Regression testing, security testing, performance testing, compatibility testing, system testing, Black Box testing, UAT, etc.
- Good communication skills (Written and speaking)
Must Haves:
You're a student enrolled in either IT, Computer Science, or another relevant program
