We are a growing tour company based in Clare, Ireland, offering unique and memorable experiences at the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, and beyond. With a team of 5-10 tour guides and approximately 200 tours per month during peak season, we aim to deliver exceptional service to our customers. We're now looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to take charge of our day-to-day operations and help us reach new heights.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management:

• Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate our team of tour guides.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure every tour runs smoothly and maintains our high standards.

Operational Management:

• Oversee day-to-day tour operations, including purchasing tickets, booking taxis, preparing guides, contacting customers, and processing payments.
• Respond promptly to customer and agent emails with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a personable tone.
• Be the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, handling last-minute issues with calm efficiency.

Customer & Partner Relationships:

• Maintain and strengthen local relationships with partners and suppliers.
• Ensure excellent customer service throughout the entire tour experience.

Guiding:

• Step in to guide tours as needed, gaining firsthand experience to better support the team and resolve issues quickly.

Reporting & Administrative Tasks:

• Assist in building operational and performance reports for management review.

What You’ll Need

• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to guide tours and step into a customer-facing role when necessary.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a personable and fun tone.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Local knowledge of Doolin and the surrounding area (preferred).
• Full driving license and access to a car.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
