Pottery Studio Assistant – Waxing, Glazing, and Operations

We’re a vibrant ceramics studio in Dublin City where people paint unique pottery pieces, enjoy BYOB sessions, and embrace their creativity. Our team is passionate about pottery, art, and providing exceptional customer experiences.
With workshops, private bookings, and collections operating 7 days a week, we’re looking for a dedicated Studio Assistant to join us and help keep our operations running smoothly and also be able to have the craic.
Key Responsibilities
- Waxing & Glazing: Apply wax and glazes to customer and studio pieces, ensuring quality and attention to detail before firing.
- Studio Maintenance: Keep the studio clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies for smooth operations.
- Collections Coordination: Manage customer notifications for ready pieces, organize collection times, and assist with bookings.
- Customer Service: Welcome and assist customers, answer inquiries, and ensure a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
- Outgoing, organized, and reliable with excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience in pottery techniques, including glazing or kiln operations.
- Interest in pottery, ceramics, or art; experience with clay or glazing is highly desirable but not essential (training provided).
- Ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality or admin experience, including managing bookings and inventory.
- A creative flair or artistic inclination.
- Social media savvy with platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
