Purpose of the role
Flexim is a Global Boutique facilities management company. There is a plan for strategic growth in Ireland and UK particularly in the Facilities Management industries. Therefore, we are seeking a highly capable HR Generalist to join our team and provide comprehensive support to our Human Resources department and local management team. The HR Generalist role will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and promoting effective communication within the organization, working for the HR Manager Ireland & UK with a matrix to the Group HR Director, and CEO supporting senior Operational Management in Ireland and UK.

Key responsibilities
- Handle HR Administration (onboarding-offboarding), compensation and benefit plans, local insurances.
- Maintain physical and digital personnel records and update databases with new hire information.
- Prepare payroll and ensure compliance with the pay schedule.
- Support recruitment processes by publishing job ads, scheduling and conducting job interviews.
- Provide commercially focussed advice and support to Managers on all Employee Relations issues in line with Company procedures.
- Populate and develop the group HRIS.
- Review and ensure all Company People Policies in respective countries are updated and alignment with Group HR Directives
- Support contract managers in the application of HR policies for example leading the disciplinary/ grievance procedure.
- Support Business managers and advise on HR plans to support any transformation activity within the business, which could include redundancies, office relocations and changes to job roles as well as changes to terms and conditions.
- Provide support to tenders and retenders. Preparing and providing Employee Liability Information for TUPE activity as well as supporting the consultation process
- Support the implementation of new HR initiatives across the business.
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department.
- Develop training and onboarding material.
- Respond to employees’ questions about benefits.
- Support the business with its marketing activities and leading branding throughout the organisation.
- Reports to HR Manager Ireland & UK and is part of the wider Global HR team, working closely with the Country business leadership teams.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a HR Generalist or similar role
- Good knowledge of labour legislation and administration (Ireland) with relevant qualification.
- Employee relations experience for example leading and conducting disciplinaries and grievances etc.
- Organizational skills
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, together with exposure of working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. senior management, clients and other external stakeholders or third parties.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence through written material or delivery of presentations.
- Ease with IT tools (Office 365, Excel)
- High confidentiality standards
- Ireland based, travel within the UK and Ireland on a regular basis in line with business needs is essential.
