Freelance Content Writer (Journalist)

After a temporary hiatus due to the pandemic, we are thrilled to relaunch our beloved magazine, bringing fresh perspectives and renewed energy to each issue. Our commitment remains to inspire and engage through stories that highlight resilience, creativity, and impactful contributions in today’s world.
We are currently seeking a talented content writer to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate should be based in Newcastle, London, or Ireland, as the role involves conducting in-person interviews and being willing to appear on camera. Apart from interviews, all work will be completed remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Research and create high-quality, original content for various platforms, including websites and social media.
- Develop content strategies to meet the needs of our target audience and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and develop content plans.
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and optimized for SEO.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content writing and marketing.
- Ensure that the recording rights belong to TWM.
- The same content writer will be responsible for both interviewing and writing.
- Fluent in English with exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in content writing, copywriting, or a related field.
- Strong research skills and the ability to write on a wide range of topics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Based in Newcastle, London, or Dublin.
- Interest in fashion, politics, NGOs, and finance.
