Job Description & Summary

We are looking for an motivated and experienced professional to join the legal team supporting Pw C in Hungary, in the field of commercial law including technology & IP.

The advanced level of English language is a must, other languages are an advantage. The successful candidate should be able to identify problems, have ability to make practical recommendations and conclusions. We expect excellent communication and contract negotiation skills, team work ability, responsible approach to the tasks, interest in commercial issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

We are looking for a colleague to
1. Be involved in commercial contracting (contract drafting, client and vendor contract negotiation), internal contracting processes, internal training delivery. This shall include but not be limited to

• Analysis and understanding the issues & related risks
  
• Follow up on current matters - with internal teams and stakeholders
  
• Work with diverse business cultures and often competing perspectives;
  
• Identifying when support is needed from other experienced professionals within the organization or from outside counsel;
  
• Advising and interacting effectively with all levels of staff and management;
  
• Negotiating with different parties with respect to legal issues;
  
• Building consensus, even for difficult or unpopular courses of action, necessitated by legal or regulatory requirements;
  

2. Provide advice and consult in related matters; incl. technology related legal matters, IP rights, as well as commercial matters;
3. Cooperate with other internal function departments and client teams
4. Support in compliance (internal and external)
5. Assist local and CEE OGC team in all related matters.

You’ll be a strong candidate if you possess the following competencies:

• L aw degree obtained in Hungary, Hungarian bar exam
  
• Minimum of 3+ years (post bar exam) experience in law, in commercial law and additionally technologys or M&A
  
• Sound professional experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, subcontractors and vendors
  
• Experience from an inhouse legal department of a consulting firm or an international technology company is an advantage
  
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
  
• Team player with good negotiation and communication skills
