Position

Job responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk-based audit plans, conduct regular risk assessments, and perform audits of 100+ points of sale to ensure compliance with SOPs, guidelines, contracts, and internal control standards.
• Administer daily operational reviews, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, accounting principles, and internal control protocols. Oversee compliance with all relevant retail guidelines and contractual agreements.
• Identify control gaps, develop and implement corrective action plans, and contribute to process improvement initiatives by recommending modifications and designing new processes.
• Conduct monthly data analysis of key sales indicators to identify anomalies and reduce non-compliance. Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to management. Conduct annual T&E reviews.
• Implement and enhance internal control frameworks, develop customized controls, and train staff on internal control processes. Coordinate internal control self-assessments and support central team audits. Follow up on Internal Audit recommendations.

Profile

• Internal Control & Audit Expertise: Deep understanding of internal control frameworks. Proven experience in conducting retail audits and identifying control deficiencies. Knowledge of IT audit and cybersecurity is a plus.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills to evaluate data, identify insights, and develop practical solutions to address control gaps. Experience in data analysis/data mining and forensic audit is highly preferred.
• Process Improvement & SOP Development: Ability to review, develop, and implement Standard Operating Procedures for retail boutiques, ensuring compliance with internal control standards and LVMH guidelines. Experience in driving process improvements and making recommendations for optimization.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and reporting skills in both English and Cantonese. Ability to effectively communicate audit results and recommendations to various stakeholders. Ability to collaborate with and support stakeholders in implementing action plans.
• Data Analysis & SQL Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to use customized SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Ability to monitor key sales indicators and identify abnormal transactions.
• Software Proficiency: Excellent command of MS Office applications.
• Proactive & Results-Oriented: Demonstrates assertiveness and a strong work ethic to drive results and ensure accountability. Manages tasks independently and effectively prioritizes workload to meet deadlines.

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field is required. A CPA, CFE, CIA, or other relevant certification is preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in internal control, internal audit, or external audit in retail industry.
