We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Finland. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our advanced fire and gas detection systems and other automation/navigation systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art safety technologies and provide essential services to our clients.
What you'll do

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced fire detection, gas detection, and other automation and navigational products.
• Configure, and commission new and existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate, organizes, and monitors service attendances and support cases.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with modifications, diagnosing errors, and performing mandatory inspections on existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards during on-site service tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external customers through clear and concise communication.
• Assist in training co-workers and external customers to enhance overall knowledge within the team.
• Attend & complete prescribed training workshops & courses.
• Collect, report and store all required documentation for service cases in Company's CRM and ERP systems.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree in Electronics or Automation or equivalent skills obtained through previous experience.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Familiar with computers and industrial computer networks
• Previous experience working on ships is desirable.
• Good Communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Finnish Language skills preferred.
• Finnish Electrical qualification 2, S2: up to 1000 V electrical works or ability to meet criteria to apply qualification is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a customer-oriented environment is preferred.
• Ability to travel- certain projects may mean lengthy periods away from home.
• Valid Drivers License
