The Role
We are looking for a Finnish-speaking Collections Specialist to join our team in Finland. You will play a vital role in ensuring timely debt repayments and delivering exceptional customer support. This hybrid position combines the flexibility of remote work with in-office collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively contact customers via phone and email to resolve overdue payments.
• Motivate customers to fulfill repayment obligations and negotiate payment solutions, including restructuring payment terms where necessary.
• Investigate reasons for delays in payments and provide tailored solutions to resolve issues.
• Monitor and manage payment agreements to ensure adherence.
• Perform skip tracing to locate and update debtor information.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in company systems.
• Collaborate with external debt collection agencies (DCAs) by delivering cases on time.
• Provide occasional support to the Factoring Collections and Customer Service teams during peak or holiday periods.
• Propose customer-centric improvements to enhance satisfaction and optimize products and services.

What You’ll Need:

• Fluency in Finnish and in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in collections or customer service; experience within banking or fintech (especially SME lending) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SME lending products is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
• Problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and negotiation skills.
• A confident, results-oriented mindset.
