We are currently looking for a Data Analyst.
Purpose of the position

Purpose of the position
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will bring a deep blend of business acumen, advanced technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather, document, and validate business and data requirements, and facilitates communication
-
Collaborate with departments and data domains to identify and evaluate data sources
-
Work closely with development and business teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
-
Actively engage and challenge stakeholders on their data requirements, encouraging innovative thinking
-
Confirm that the final deliverables meet the business objectives and adhere to the agreed-upon requirements
-
Manage change requests, evaluating their impact on project timelines and coordinating effectively across different teams
-
Ensures strict adherence to organizational policies, standards and best practices from Data Management Centre of Excellence
-
Facilitates discussion and alignment around KPIs and definitions for the enterprise data catalog & ensures the right documentation
Example assignments
-
Investigate the new Power BI request from the business by surveying the SMEs and drafting the Minimum Viable Product requirements with them & communicates the details to the Product Owner and Developers
-
Write a requirements specification in the form of user stories and getting a business acceptance about it
-
Analyzes incoming data requests if all relevant information is included and all data sources are available
-
Identifies required data sources and reaches out to the relevant data teams and stakeholders to ensure needed data is made available and opens relevant tickets

Informs the data requestor on the progress

Professional qualifications
-
Fluent in English and Danish
-
Strong ability to influence and manage stakeholders, navigating organizational layers to build consensus & communicate clearly
-
Proven experience in translating high-level business needs into technical specifications and guiding complex data projects from concept to delivery.
-
Expertise in translating complex business concepts into technical requirements for data and development teams.
-
Experience in managing and evaluating the impact of complex change requests on project goals, timelines, and resource allocation
-
Familiarity with specific domains (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Pricing) to provide deeper contextual analysis
-
Keen attention to detail and the ability to see and communicate the broader strategic picture to senior leaders.

Familiar with creating templates and establishing new ways of working
Nice to have

Familiarity with BI development processes and/or Data Management process
-
Basic SQL skills and Power BI skills
-
Knowledge of specific business areas (e.g. Supply Chain, Finance)
-
Used to working in Azure Dev Ops and/or Service Now
-
Experience in working with Scrum/Kanban teams
Educational qualifications
-
MSc. In IT, Communication or Business Administration or similar University education
-
Any Scrum or Agile certification is an advantage
