Business Development Manager, MOLYKOTE® Specialty Lubricants

ROLE DEFINITION
To accelerate G.China specialty lubricants business growth in focused market incl. industrial and Auto, we are seeking a business development specialist, who will work closely with G. China Commercial and TS&D Team, to lead and champion targeted new business/application development opportunities in order to deliver our sustainable growth aspiration in south of China. This role will be reporting to G.China sale Leader.
Work Location: Guangzhou or Shenzhen, China

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify new business opportunities for target application in selected industrial markets and Auto for Molykote specialty lubricants business
  • Develop and win targeted growth programs and support other account managers/TS&D to proliferate.
  • Visit target OEMs and tiers to collect VOCs and unmet needs. Introduce Molykote product solutions to initiate new business/application development programs. Will take leading role in developing and sustaining relationship with targeted OEM or tiers.
  • Closely work with regional marketing team to execute the marketing plan. Joint-work with marketing for driving new product launches.
  • Understand value proposition of our product and competitive benchmarking for value selling.
  • Understand the entire value chains, technology and market trend, strength/weakness, threat and opportunities for related business.
  • Manage and update opportunity development pipeline by SFDC.


QUALIFICATION
  • More than five-year experiences in sales development or technical support as customer interface in automotive and/or electronics related business. Experiences in specialty lubricants business and/or new business & application development is preferred.
  • Bachelor degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or mechanics related. Marketing experience is preferred.
  • Passionate about new business development.
  • Customer focus with strong capability to probe and understand customer needs and issues.
  • Fluency in English, and good communication and people skill in a complex environment.
  • Sophisticated computer skills including the use of Excel, Word, Power Point, SFDC
  • Self-motivated and result oriented.
  • Acceptance to domestic travel frequency up to 50%
