- Job Title: Senior Risk Analyst
- Reports To: Director/Manager
Quantitative Financial Risk Analysis and Monitoring
- Review and challenge market risk indicators by monitoring interest rate risk and foreign exchange rate risk
- Review and challenge regulatory returns including liquidity coverage ratio, net cumulative cashflow, leverage ratio and Interest Rate Risk
- Conduct liquidity stress test and compile and analyze stress testing results for ICAAP on a quarterly basis
- Participate in the development and preparation of the annual ICAAP document.
- Manage the aggregation of risk oversight report
- Support the enhancement of the Bank’s risk appetite statement including assisting in developing risk limits
- Prepare internal reports provided to senior management, other departments, the Risk Management Steering Committee and Board of Directors
- Coordinate the process for annual review and approval of ERM policies, framework and procedure
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing training and continuous professional development
- Strong knowledge of Excel and other analysis tools and/or programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to manage and take ownership of numerous projects simultaneously
- Creative thinking
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business or related field
- 3-5 years of either ERM, ORM or CRM risk or audit or financial analysis related work experience in the Canadian financial service industry.
- Relevant professional designations such as CPA, CFA and FRM is preferred
