Our Process and Technical Safety Group are looking to add a Senior Process Engineer to their growing team here in St. John's, NL!

As the Senior Process Engineer, working within a multi-disciplined onshore Engineering Department, you will be required to conduct studies and complete detailed process design work related to the modification and maintenance of offshore oil and gas installations.

What will you be doing?

Liaising with other disciplines through work development; investigating, advising, and resolving complex design and field engineering problems.
Reviewing, interpretating, designing and analyzing process equipment and systems, including process simulation and system analysis, prepare technical reports, design drawings, and specifications.
Preparing technical reports, design drawings and specifications.
Conducting debottlenecking studies, equipment sizing and selection.
Supporting procurement, fabrication, and construction efforts including through bid evaluations, communication with suppliers, documentation review, and support to offshore execution.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

We think you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Current registration with PEGNL as a P. Eng.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience.
Significant experience in a brownfield project or industrial environment.
Solid engineering knowledge of process design codes and standards.
Competency in process analysis software such as HYSYS, OLGA, and Flare Net or equivalent is required.
Knowledge of the development of sustainable energy sources would be an asset.
