We work with clients in the oil and gas, mining, construction, coastal logging, military and defense sectors. Coverage is as diverse as offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, to coastal logging camps in B.C., to construction camps in the Alberta Oil Sands. Facilities are located within drill camps, mining camps, construction camps, pipeline camps, oil and gas installations and correctional facilities.

Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as a Quality Assurance Coordinator, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

Develop Canteen specific requirements from current Compass Quality Standards
Establish records and training requirements
Establish audit standard relevant to the business
Lead the implementation of changes to the food safety systems and monitoring within the Canteen sector develop focused training materials and use these for on-going training requirements
Measure and report on audit compliance
Support supplier approval program
QA Strategic Project Support when required support Ontario based units in other Sectors

College Diploma or Post Graduate degree in Food Science or related
5 years’ experience in the food industry in a food safety and leadership experience
HACCP Training/Certification
Creative problem solving skills
Excellent Communication and decision-making skills
Committed and enthusiastic approach to supporting business customers and end users
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows
