We are seeking a dedicated Service Desk Engineer to join our Local IT Services team. The consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for local IT issues, with responsibilities that include managing helpdesk tickets, stock control, and overseeing the rollout of Windows 11 across multiple offices in Belgium. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills, particularly in IT troubleshooting, system management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the contact person for local IT issues in the Anderlecht office.
Manage helpdesk tickets through the Atlassian ASK system.
Oversee stock management, particularly of laptops.
Lead the Windows 11 rollout by managing user appointments, preparing and delivering laptops, and overseeing recycling.
Travel to external offices in Belgium for the rollout of Windows 11.
Secondary Tasks:
Back-up & Assistance: Support the Team Coordinator, Service Desk Manager, and other experts during high workload periods. Assist with coaching and guiding junior team members.
Ongoing Learning & Development: Stay updated on infrastructural changes and share expertise to improve internal tools and service delivery within the department.

Ability to work independently, as the primary on-site support person.
Capable of handling multiple simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision.
Team player who can collaborate with a distributed team located in Anderlecht, Molenbeek, Gent, Wilrijk, Brugge, and Liège.

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Excellent organizational, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Technical Requirements:
Solid understanding of PCs and related hardware.
Expertise in Windows 10 & 11.
Proficient in Active Directory, Exchange, Print Management, ticketing systems, and stock management.
Familiar with networking and patching.
