Your function
EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on Power System Operations and Security in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, Energy and Balancing Market Integration. To achieve this, we are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in the field of transmission system operation with an affinity for power electronics. These experts will take part to local and international projects focusing on RES integration, security of supply, sustainability and economic efficiency of Power System.

Your responsibilities will be decided based on your competencies and expertise, and will be discuss during your interviews with managers.


Your profile

• Master degree in Engineering (preferably electrical, electromechanical or power electronics);
• 5+ years of experience in Power System Operations and Security (the development and the operation of electricity networks and power plants);
• Great knowledge of power system simulation tools (PSS/e, Power Factory, PSCAD, Python, VBA, etc);
• Experience with wind turbine, PV plant, HVDC or power electronics manufacturers, with projects related to the integration of renewable or HVDC and with interaction studies is a strong asset;
• Fluent in English;
• Knowledge of German, Dutch and/or French is a strong asset;

Location
Brussels – Mobility required: 30% worldwide (willingness to travel abroad for international assignments depending on the business development or project needs).
