Therefore EY-Parthenon is looking to recruit a Senior Consultant who is looking for entrepreneurship and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You will have a key role in the development and execution of the strategy services in our Belgian team.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to business development by preparing client meetings and project proposals and by participating in client discussions;
• Execute client projects and be part of engagement teams to deliver high quality outputs in different industries;
• Contribute to problem structuring and clarification of key issues;
• Suggest approaches to analyze and address the issues;
• Analyze and summarize information, incl. conducting client interviews;
• Draft conclusions and possible recommendations;
• Prepare documents for client communication, incl. proposals and project documents;
• Interact with clients and senior team members from the start;
• Demonstrate deep interest and base knowledge of all phases and aspects of strategy development, transformation and value creation;
• Demonstrate ability to not only identify strategic opportunities, risks and issues, but also to recommend resolutions that fit for purpose;
• Successfully coach and mentor our junior colleagues.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in a strategy consulting firm and/or in a corporate strategy department;
• A Master’s degree in civil/business engineering or economics. An MBA degree will be considered as a strong asset;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a practical ability to shape the business agenda and define strategic roadmaps;
• Experience with executing complex business projects, working with multi-disciplinary teams;
• Strong internal and external business development acumen;
• An entrepreneurial spirit, team player and excellent communicator;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch/French and English.
