The Role

Double yes? Then our new position of a Project Engineer at Atlas Copco in Antwerp could be your next challenge.

Key responsibilities:

• Enhance Product Quality: Act on feedback from customers, production, and purchasing to address field issues and improve designs.
• Coordinate Problem-Solving: Ensure timely, cost-effective solutions by aligning activities across departments.
• Oversee Implementation: Manage the process from problem definition to solution implementation.
• Support Development: Assist product teams in reducing failure rates and warranty costs of new machines.
• Analyze and Predict Issues: Use field data to identify and anticipate potential problems.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with suppliers, production, purchasing, marketing, and service teams to refine solutions.
• Facilitate Testing and Improvements: Define test plans, review results, and implement product enhancements based on findings.

You will report to the Teamleader Engineering

This is a hybrid position with the main location onsite based in Antwerp, Belgium


What we expect of you?

• You have a master degree in engineering or a master degree in industrial sciences
• You efficiently manage timings
• You are strong in mechanical design
• You are a team player and a networker
• You are stress resilient
• You are fluent in English, Dutch is considered a plus
