Your Role
Join our dynamic team as the Lead of the Power BI Competence Center, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our data analytics and reporting landscape. Reporting directly to our Infrastructure & Operations Manager, you'll lead a team of 3-4 people responsible for the management, operations, and lifecycle management of various Power BI environments within PT BA. In this role, you will stay ahead of Microsoft technology stack evolutions to keep our capabilities future-proof.

You will translate your team's services into a clear offering for all entities within PT BA, including local IT teams and citizen development, complete with an internal cost model. You will oversee the Power BI development factory through a right shore service contract with an external partner. Maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, a zero-support mindset, and clear operational reporting will be key. You will drive automation and internal process improvements. Additionally, you will act as a spokesperson for cross-BA meetings, driving further standardization and seeking synergies.

Your expertise will be crucial in the analysis, design, development, and testing of Power BI dashboards. Additionally, you'll provide specialist support to various entities and divisions, ensuring they leverage our Power BI solutions to their fullest potential. You'll also collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our reporting systems.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, SQL and DAX. Knowledge of BI principles (e.g., Kimball, 3NF, SCD) is a plus.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently and in teams, and adept at managing reporting projects with minimal supervision.
  
• Ability to lead the Power BI Competence Center, manage reporting projects, and provide specialist support to various entities and divisions.
  
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences and to establish good collaboration with suppliers and vendors.
  
• Experience in managing the run and build of dashboards

We are part of PT-IT (Power Technique - Information Technology), which delivers IT and digitalization services to the Power Technique (PT) business area of Atlas Copco. The department operates from the Power Technique (PT) headquarters located in Antwerp, Belgium. PT-IT was founded in 2016 and employs about +60 people.
