Your challenge

As a Legal Counsel, you draft and negotiate various agreements in an international context. Working closely with our other legal counsels, you provide proactive and practical legal support, advising our business units on risks, best practices, and contract issues.
You are responsible for:

• Analyzing, evaluating and negotiating agreements under Belgian and other law systems. These agreements include customer agreements (Software as a Service, license, maintenance and project implementation agreements), supplier agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Managing the contract process according to our internal contract policies and developing and implementing a solid contract management process.

• Advising on the implementation of new legislation (e.g. NIS2, Data Act, CSRD).
• Providing proactive and practical legal support to the company's business units on best practices and contract issues in line with the company’s strategy, with a focus on intellectual property rights, liability, confidentiality, data protection, and insurance.

• Designing legal processes and creating content (templates, guidelines, trainings, etc.) that improve our legal services and increase efficiency.
• Collaborating with the business unit managers, commercial team, and customers.
