SIMAC is a player in the Belgian ICT market with a focus on 3 domains: Integration, Datacenter & Connectivity Solutions and Business Monitoring Solutions. Our 170 employees are based in our offices in Heverlee and Lummen.

What you will do

• You will gain hands-on experience with Broadcom DX Net Ops, study the basic architecture and features and capabilities of the platform and learn to understand how this solution is deployed for network management and monitoring.
• You will analyse monitoring needs and identify network or infrastructure components that are not yet monitored within the current framework.
• You will be responsible for developing new device plug-ins via Broadcom DX Net Ops Mediation Manager.
• You are responsible for documentation and knowledge transfer and will therefore work out a clear communication of how the plugin was developed and implemented in order to smoothly transfer this knowledge to the IT team so that they are able to manage and further develop the plugin.
