As a member of the Global Technology Services (GTS) division, you will contribute to all aspects of the technology products and services we deliver, from technical strategy and design to coding to deployment to operation.

You’ll be joining our awesome AWS Foundational as Senior Systems Engineer, pulling from your AWS and automation experience to solve intellectually stimulating platform engineering challenges. You’ll own the end-to-end process, designing complex cloud migration solutions, implementing infrastructure components, partnering with our product software engineers to ensure an efficient, stable and secure integration.

With a full cycle engineering mindset, and expertise in deploying & maintaining AWS cloud services, you’ll effectively lead the capability uplift in our platforms engineering for our customers.

We support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half your time each month connecting in office. Tech skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

• AWS Cloud Services, AWS Infrastructure
  
• Python, Java, node js, .Net or similar.
  
• Source control systems (Git), Configuration
  
• Team City, Jenkins, Docker, Github Actions, etc.
  
• Monitoring and alerting systems (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Pager Duty)
  
• Networking and Network protocol
