About the Position
As we are streamlining our Supply Chain division, we're excited to offer a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Senior Procurement Officer to be part of Terra Mining’s supply chain operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement and management of materials and services for Terra Mining’s operations at various projects.
Reporting to the Procurement Superintendent, the Senior Procurement Officer will work Monday to Friday in our head office in West Perth and will travel to projects when needed to assist with their supply chain operations.
As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end process of material/service supply.
Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Managing and overseeing Terra Mining purchase process including sourcing suppliers, RFQ management and create/receipt PO’s for invoice payments.
• Lead the negotiation process with suppliers for the high value contract and PO to achieve cost effective solution.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate and resolve queries that arise during the procurement process.
• Providing expediting support to operations in relation to procurement of inventory and other materials used.

What You Will Bring to Terra Mining

• Proven experience (min. 5 years) in Procurement in the mining or resource industry.
• Thorough understanding of the Sourcing and Procurement processes.
• A tertiary qualification in business is desired.
• Strong experience in purchasing activities, inventory management and supply systems.
• Experience using MS Office Suite and ERP software (MEX preferred)
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail along with strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude to safety and teamwork.
