The role
As a permanent Project Support Officer you will provide project administration and management support to a key program in our Naval Combat Systems division.
Further, as the successful candidate you will:

• Track and report progress of service hub tickets for the project
• Facilitate the booking of meeting rooms and be the key point of contact for people entering the facility
• Coordinate project meetings and telephone conferences as requested, arrange travel, and produce minutes and action logs for meetings
• Prepare professional presentations and develop, maintain and distribute document templates
• Streamline and automate manual administrative processes and procedures associated with projects.

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:

• Strong planning, analysis, administration and communication
• A general understanding of project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies
• Working to strict deadlines and manage various demands
• Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised
• Prioritise and using initiative
• 2 – 5 years of administrative experience in a project environment (essential)
• Awareness of earned value management principles (desirable)
• Working in the defence industry (desirable)
• Diploma/Certificate in Project Management (desirable).

Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold an Australian defence NV1 security clearance.
