We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administration Services Officer to join our dedicated multidisciplinary Mental Health teams. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of clerical and administrative support, ensuring the smooth running of services that directly contribute to the care of mental health clients. Reporting to the Team Manager through the Administration Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate client records, scheduling appointments, and managing telephone and counter enquiries, all while liaising with staff, the public, and other services.
Your exceptional organisational skills will be essential in coordinating and managing administrative tasks, enabling the clinical teams to focus on providing quality mental health care. About You
To thrive in the Administration Services Officer role, you will bring a mix of strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate the following key capabilities:
- Customer Service & Communication: Excellent telephone and communication skills with the ability to respond courteously to diverse people and manage challenging situations.
- Organisation & Initiative: Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and use initiative to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Teamwork & Diplomacy: Proven ability to work collaboratively with health professionals in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office, computer systems, and a typing speed of 30wpm, alongside a strong understanding of confidentiality and customer service requirements.
