Position: Resident Engineer (RE)

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for PMCL for all support-related matters.
- Manage the Merchant’s technical integration, testing, and address any related queries.
- Liaise with PMCL for any bugs, issues identified, and manage detailed investigation and resolution processes.
- Responsible for maintenance activities, including planning and execution.
- Provide weekly status reports on pending and resolved fixes, change requests, and system health.
- Deliver an annual report of system and solution diagnostics, including recommendations.
- Inspect and assess the quality of components used in the Bill Payment system/solution.
- Perform regular evaluation on observance trends, prepare for preventative maintenance, and coordinate between the Supplier and PMCL.
- Resolve all PMCL’s queries within the agreed turnaround times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fintech area.
- Can read, write, and understand code in multiple programming languages.
- Has experience integrating RESTful APIs
- Proven experience in payment systems integration.
- Hands-on experience in integration testing.
- Familiarity with issue tracking and service management tools Jira and 4Me.
- Understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management(ITSM) practices.
- Excellent English proficiency, as Resident Engineer will be the key liaison between the Supplier and PMCL*.
- Turkish-speaking capability is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes is an asset.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively serve as the bridge between the Supplier and PMCL.
- In-depth knowledge of integration and testing methodologies related to payment systems.
- Experience in planning and executing maintenance activities, including diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
- Strong skills in identifying, investigating, and resolving technical issues within agreed timeframes.
- Capable of delivering regular status updates, diagnostics, and improvement recommendations in a clear and organized manner.
