Shipsage, Inc., is an e-commerce distributor, is looking for a responsible, efficient individual with stellar leadership skills to oversee the warehouse distribution and 4PL services at our Bolingbrook, IL. Location.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position; hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm with some overtime as needed. We also will occasionally work Saturdays or Sundays and will require that management is present to ensure coverage of the warehouse. This means that you will be required to work 1-2 weekend days per month.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct day-to-day activities through subordinate managers of the entire 4PL operation.
• Manage a fast-paced e-commerce and B2B operations and online retail logistics - inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation coordination.
• Oversee multiple operation departments, all while leveraging data analytics to optimize and manage the KPI's and SLAs of the entire operation.
• Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
• Monitor performance against operational goals and develop reporting and auditing processes used to analyze operational effectiveness.
• Maintain proper operational adherence to the company’s SOP policies.
• Forecast and plan future warehouse capacity requirements.
• Managing daily logistics of routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
• Ensures production and quality requirements are met according to company standards.
• Produce and maintain regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis KPI Info, Employee Productivity, Inventory Analysis, etc.
• Manage and plan reduction on daily warehouse material and operational costs.
• Maintain and ensure high standards of safety throughout the warehouse operations.
• Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets and daily shipping percentages are met.
• Supervise, train, and monitor staff's performance and progress.
• Deliver and fulfill objectives and directions from upper management
• Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions.
• Troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs.
• Secure warehouse by turning alarms on testing systems.
• Other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Shipping & Receiving: 5 years (Required).
• 5 years of warehouse management experience.
• 5+ years of experience in people management and leadership skills.
• E-commerce, B2B, Distribution/Fulfillment experience are required.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude management multiple operation departments and in a fast-paced environment are required.
• Knowledge of WMS systems is required.
• Experience with warehouse system implementation - 5S is required.
• Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
• OSHA training requirements experience is a plus.
• Planning and scheduling skills.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presenting.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work with all levels of staff.
• Ability to lead, coach, manage, and motivate staff.
• Good team building and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• High school Diploma/GED is required. Some college preferred.

Abilities

• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud.
• Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments).
