- Develop and implement strategic plans for operational activities, aligning them with overall company objectives.
- Lead and manage operations teams across multiple locations, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance.
- Supervise and coordinate production processes to meet quality standards, production targets, and customer demand.
- Manage inventory levels, optimizing stock levels to support continuous production and meet customer requirements.
- Implement cost-effective measures and resource allocation strategies to achieve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, implementing and promoting a culture of safety within the region.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring that products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize transportation, distribution, and delivery of products within the region.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Develop and manage budgets for operational activities, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and address any operational challenges impacting customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on operational performance and challenges.
- Address operational issues promptly, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Provide training and development opportunities for operations teams to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Generate and analyze operational reports, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
- Be willing to travel within the assigned region and oversee operations.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent operations experience.
- 5 plus years’ experience successfully managing a manufacturing plant or work center of equal or greater size in the concrete or similar industry
- Previous leadership experience required
- Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills including the ability to solve problems proactively, and exercise sound judgment.

Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to present oneself and communicate in a professional, positive, and courteous manner with managing internal and external relationships

Strong knowledge of production management in the concrete industry or equivalent

Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure, and shipping and fulfillment

Requires specific knowledge in a manufacturing or technical field.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, Power Point, Internet and other database/ERP applications.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and ability to travel over 50-75 percent of the time.
