Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Project Engineer – Medical Molding to join our team and lead innovative solutions in medical device and component manufacturing. In this role, you will drive projects from conception to production, utilizing cutting-edge materials like silicone and thermoplastics. Your expertise and leadership will help shape the future of healthcare through precision manufacturing and collaborative engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects in medical molding from concept development to full-scale production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and manufacture innovative medical components.
- Utilize advanced materials such as silicone and thermoplastics to deliver high-quality products.
- Ensure projects align with timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise to solve complex engineering challenges and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and product performance.
- Stay updated with advancements in medical manufacturing technologies and integrate them into project solutions.
- Strong understanding of medical molding processes, particularly with silicone and thermoplastics.
- Proficiency in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in precision manufacturing and quality assurance for medical devices.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in the medical device industry (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations).
- Experience with CAD software and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in medical molding or medical device manufacturing.
- Proven track record of managing projects from design to production.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
