About us: Care Builders at Home- East Bay is a leading provider of non-medical home care services to the elderly. Our team consists of passionate professionals that are professionals in their own right (they just pride themselves in being great at their respective career path)! Your job will consist of work in three categories: companion care, home making services and personal care. We will ensure our clients remain healthy by following a set of guidelines that are outlined in the Care Builders at Home- East Bay Services Guide. If you are a team player, enjoy working with elderly (or any) clients, and want to make a difference in the lives of others, then this is the position for you! We are looking for qualified and registered caregivers to service a specific client in Oakland. Details can be provided further once applicant is vetted.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides companionship, home making and personal care assistance with activities of daily living (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, eating, transfer, Hoyer lift, etc.)
• Reminders to clients about their daily meals, appointments, and medication reminders
• Assist clients with mobility and activities of daily living (Electronic Hoyer Lift experience)
• Perform housekeeping tasks (e.g. laundry and cleaning)
• Document care and provide wellness feedback
• Assist in developing client care plan
• Completion of all required training documents
• Communicate with the Office regarding client care issues and concerns
• Other client specific needs and ADL's

Expectations and Skills

• Ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and texing
• Ability to use smartphone app to communicate and document care
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with others at a professional level
• Ability to plan, make and keep shift commitments
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance. This ability requires being flexible in times when the work demands is not urgent but still urgent because it is near completion.

Qualifications:
· 18 years or older
· Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
· Registered with the State of California Home Care Services Bureau as a Caregiver
· Current negative TB test or clear x-ray results
· Vaccination requirements in accordance with Local, State and Federal guidance
· Applicant must be registered with the Home Care Services Bureau as a caregiver and have all documents ready to go
