Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Woodworker to join our team. As a Woodworker, you will be responsible for assembling pre-machined iron mongery into timber fire doors and frames, glazing vision panels with pre made beads using a variety of tools and techniques. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties:
- fixing hinges, locks, spy holes, letter boxes, intumescent etc into pre machined door sets according to specifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks
- Assembling pre machine frames together
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for woodworking
- Knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Familiarity with timber doors and fitting an advantage
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
We offer competitive pay based on experience and skill level. This is a full-time position working as part of a team assisting others when required. Occasional delivery driving if required, we are a company that 'muck in' together and are a close team.
