About Us
SEES was founded in 2008, with our team’s roots firmly in the construction industry. We initially specialised in energy calculations and Code for Sustainable Homes reports. Over the years, we have evolved and expanded our services to respond to changing building regulations and advancements in building physics.

The Role
As a Technical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our clients and ensuring smooth project delivery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Documentation Management: Producing, collating and assembling tailored Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, Home User Guides (HUGs), and Building User Guides (BUGs).
- Water Calculations: Preparing water usage calculations in line with Building Regulations (Part G) or Planning Requirements.
- Client Interaction: Managing e-mails, answering phone calls, and building strong working relationships to support client-related tasks.
- Scheduling: Assisting with diary management and booking site visits.
- Brand Management: Finalising documents to ensure they meet brand standards and supporting the organisation of marketing materials and events.
- Social Media and Events: Supporting social media updates and helping plan both internal and client-facing events.
We’re looking for a positive, professional individual with a passion for sustainability. The ideal candidate will bring:
Essential Skills:
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Previous administrative experience in an office-based environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Initiative and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word.
- Administrative experience in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with document preparation and client management.
- Experience using Xero for issuing quotes and invoices.
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
