We are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager for a beautiful new care home in Cumbria. As the first employee, you’ll have the unique opportunity to establish and lead a service built on trauma-informed practices, supported by an experienced and committed team.
Role Overview
As Registered Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring quality care for residents while creating a nurturing and supportive environment. You’ll manage a team of dedicated professionals, implement development programs for children and young people, and contribute to building future leaders within the organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Development and implementation of programs to support the well-being and growth of residents.
• Cultivating a trauma-informed approach and fostering a culture of achievement and ambition.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in residential care management, staff leadership, and program development.
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and child development principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
• Certifications in areas like Child Protection or Trauma Therapy are highly desirable.
