Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Painter / Blaster to join our team. The Blaster will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by using abrasive blasting techniques. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Duties:
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or shape surfaces of materials
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing rust, dirt, old paint, and other debris
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear during blasting operations
- Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain and clean equipment after each use
- Paint and Inspect finished goods
- Work to high level of industry specifications
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an engineering paint / blasting environment
- Ability to assemble and fabricate mechanical assemblies would be beneficial
- Mechanical knowledge to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
- Proficiency in painting techniques is a must

Pay: £14.00-£16.20 per hour
