Job Description.
Heales Medical is a nationwide commercial provider of Occupational Health services to clients of all sizes and sectors including both public and private organisations.
We are currently seeking an Occupational Health screening Nurse to work with our clients based across in Lees, York and surrounding areas, as well as undertaking remote assessments for our clients based across the United Kingdom.
This role will encompass the a range of functions including Phlebotomy, vaccinations and health surveillance (Audiometry, spirometry, visions testing etc). There are options to develop further into Occupational Health in time.
This is a peripatetic role and will be based partially from our client sites, at our own local site or from home, depending on need.
The Candidate.
Candidates must be a qualified nurse and be registered with the NMC. You will have a solid and recent experience in phlebotomy and the provision of vaccinations. Experience with Audiometry, spirometry & Vision testing would be helpful, however these can be trained. This role will be working in a variety of settings, so experience outside of a hospital/practice environment, such as community nursing etc, would also be essential.
Heales Medical works with cutting edge technology making it essential that candidates have strong IT capability. It is also important to have excellent written and spoken English. High level communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cohesive team will also be needed in order to succeed in this role.
As a peripatetic role you will need to be able to travel up to 1 hour from your home and will need a current license and your own vehicle. (or a suitable alternative)
