Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry machinery and equipment. You’ll be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to keep our production lines running efficiently.
- Troubleshoot issues with mechanical systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify defects or malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work with electrical systems
- Experience in welding or fabrication would be useful
- Communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors
The following Skills would be a good fit for the roll
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience (e.g., Engineering Maintenance Fitter or similar).
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
