Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Primary School Cleaner to join our team. in Macclesfield (SK10).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a pleasant atmosphere for pupils, staff and visitors.
Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitise classrooms, restrooms, offices and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of work.

Skills

• Previous experience in school cleaning is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
• Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients professionally
• MUST have the Right to Work in the UK
• MUST have a clean, valid Enhanced DBS dated within the last three years

Daily shifts: Monday - Friday 16:00 - 18:30, a total of 12.5 hours per week
