CARAMELLA is a fashion brand located in the Wirral area, United Kingdom. The brand’s product strategy consists of a hybrid product model: wholesale sourcing + own brand collections, collections are designed in-house with real bodies in mind. We are pushing towards the ratio of own brand to WS to be 70:30 this financial year. CARAMELLA’s focus is to create affordable yet premium clothing with the consumer in mind, product quality, fit and comfort is our main focus, as is standing out from the crowd and bringing different products to what is on the market already.
This is a part time role for a Fashion Designer at CARAMELLA with option to progress to full time. Designer will be working closely with the buying and marketing team, you will be required to design, sketch, CAD, sample + produce a high quality product range with the use of trend forecasting, strong social media awareness, customer profiling.
Sourcing fabrics, working in line with a CP and working closely with the buyers. developing commercially viable ranges, fitting products with our fit models from initial sample to finishing product. Please note we do not have a garment tech.

• An understanding of CARAMELLA’s brand /handwriting + customer type
• Experience of 3+ years in womenswear fashion design OR university degree (ideal post graduate)
• Knowledge of fashion trends and design techniques
• Strong attention to detail and creativity aswell as a strong passion for fashion
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Degree in Fashion Design or similar - would consider post graduate.
