Scale: SO1 Pt 23-25 depending upon experience
Actual pro rated Salary: £34,688.01 to £35,745.93
We are a comprehensive inner London secondary school with a diverse intake of students from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. We were graded as Good in all aspects during our last Ofsted Inspection (April 2023).
The Exams Officer is a critical role for our school and prior knowledge of this role would be advantageous. You will be supported by a dedicated SLT and responsible for the planning and organisation of the Exams programme for the whole school.
You should have a good working knowledge, understanding and experience of the following;

• Examination Law, policy and procedure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Understanding/Knowledge of Word, Google and other packages.
• Flexible working approach

Arts & Media School Islington is a co-educational, comprehensive trust foundation school in north Islington, London.
The Victorian school building was originally home to Montem Street School, later becoming known as Tollington Park Secondary School and, more recently, as George Orwell School.
In 2014, Arts & Media School Islington was selected to be one of 12 schools in London to participate in the Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MISST) programme, which aims to develop team-working skills, improve discipline and enrich the learning of students through the creativity of music.
