- £500 after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
- £500 after successful completion of twelve months' employment.
We're seeking a forward-thinking and dynamic Registered Manager for one of our 2-bed homes, who is ready to make a difference. Your role will also be to support young people come to terms with, and move on from, their varying emotional, behavioural and often mental health issues. If you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience (at a senior level) within a children’s residential setting, coupled with Level 5 Leadership & Management (or working towards it), then you're exactly who we're looking for. We provide excellent training and CPD opportunities, including the chance to achieve Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care & Children and Young People Services, Level 2 Certificate in Child & Adolescent Mental Health, and Positive Behaviour Support Courses Level 1 or 2 as a minimum. Applicants must be able to work within the principles of The Children's Act 2004 and demonstrate a good working knowledge of Child Protection and Children's Homes procedures and related matters along with a working knowledge of the National Care Standards 2018, Children's Homes Regulations 2018 and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023.

Successful candidates who are invited to interview will be required to complete an application for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check to ensure suitability of working with children. You will also be required to sign up to the online DBS service. As such candidates will need to bring original documents to evidence their identity that will satisfy DBS requirements, ie either a current driving licence or passport including a photograph, or a full birth certificate, plus a document such as a utility bill or financial statement that shows the candidate’s current name and address and where appropriate change of name documentation.
